JONATHAN MERCER
JAZZ   CONTEMPORARY    TAP

Jonathan is an alumni dancer of DCPAC and was a lead dancer in many shows and dance pieces during that time leaving a huge mark in the DCPAC Hall of Fame!!!!  He is a native to the California Bay Area and has been working professionally as a dancer for the past 16 years. His training and work have taken him all over the world performing for the likes of Jennifer Lopez, Dick Van Dyke, Jason Alexander (Seinfeld), Fiat 500, Yahoo Korea, Holland America Cruise Lines, The North American National Tour of “CATS”, Karmagraphy Bollywood Entertainment, Fox Sports Network, Hindu Swing, VIP Dance Competitions, Dance Masters of California, Star Systems Dance, and many more. He has been teaching equally as long and has students in all corners of the world. Some of his students have gone on to work in New York City, Los Angeles and London with some of today's hottest artists, companies, and tours. 

Jonathan has an equal passion for all styles that he teaches including Jazz, Contemporary and Tap this season. His passion for teaching is apparent in his work, his students, and his reputation within the dance world. He prides himself on being a focused, driven, and attentive teacher. 

Jonathan is now moving into the Jazz Contemporary Company groups world at DCPAC while still keeping the Tap program he developed over the last 10 years!!  We are excited to welcome this new role for him.
