CAMILLE GOLDSTON
TECHNIQUE - JAZZ - CHILDREN
Camille is a Bay Area native who started dancing at the age of 2. She grew up learning the classic styles of jazz, tap and ballet while also competing in other sports such as cheerleading, swimming and gymnastics. During her time as competition dancer she continued her training through classes and conventions with industry professionals and was awarded scholarships with L.A. Dance Force and Joe Treamine Dance. She also trained with San Jose Dance Theater performing in their annual classic, The Nutcracker, at the San Jose Center for the Performing Arts. Her credits also include dancing in the Nickelodeon show for Paramount Pictures.
In recent years Camille was head coach of Liberty High School’s Varsity Dance team, where she led the team to 1st place in multiple regional competitions and under her guidance became a nationally ranked team. In tandem she taught tap, jazz, ballet and musical theater for recreation and company dancers of all ages at a studio in Brentwood, CA until 2019.
Camille has really missed teaching in the studio and is excited to share her love of dance with her students. She believes that the best part of teaching is giving children an equal opportunity to grow and she relishes in the moment when a dancer realizes what they are capable of.
Camille has been married to her husband, Joe, for the past 18 years and together they have 3 daughters who also share a love of dance.
