DCPAC is proud to offer a great and fun Performance Company team program. We have 3 levels of ccost, time and commitment-something to work for everyone who has desired to be a part of team!

**A great goal for many students is to also be a part of a dance team and have the opportunity to perform more than just at the showcase once a year. As young as 4 years thru Teens - performance (company) team members can enroll in as few as 2 classes each week to be on a team...depending on the style of dance they choose and how quickly they desire to progress. For example, a student who loves hip hop can be on a team by just taking 2 classes per week; 1 hip hop class, and 1 rehearsal class. A student who wants to Tap would do the same; 1 tap class and 1 rehearsal class. A student who wants to excel in jazz, contemporary, or lyrical style would take a minimum of 3 classes at the entry level - 1 ballet, 1 jazz/contemp and 1 rehearsal. From there it's up to you. We are the dance school for EVERYONE! Events include a about 4 competitions, 1-2conventiom for intermediate and advanced level (a weekend event with classes to take and competition) and local performances at theater's and community events. ALL OF THE EVENTS WE ATTEND ARE WITHIN A 20-50 MINUTE DRIVE. Performers are always awarded - everyone goes home a winner in the dance world. Medals and awards of recognition are always given to each performer. You will only be at the event for the time necessary to perform (about 1-2 hours if on one performance team). It really is a great part of our program and very doable for the busy family. Auditions are held every year in the summer thru early September and we place ALL students who have trained at least 1 year with us. If you are curious of the popularity of our program, we have over 200+ students placed on teams currently while the majority of our school is recreational dancers. Being considered for a team is always your choice, but if you feel it's the right choice for your child now, please contact us for more information. We offer 3 levels in the Company program division: Company, Apprentice and Accelerated Program for dancers that wish more training, work with guest choreographers from LA or NYC, and more performance opportunity! Note: a student should carefully consider their decision to accept placement if the have other commitments. Please ask us and we can help guide your decision. If a student accepts team placement and has to drop from their team after that and for any reason-except MD note given-there is a termination fee due to the extra work for teacher and team to rechoreograph the dance without them.
