PENELOPE ABRANTES Penni truly left her mark at DCPAC for many years as a dancer and teacher! She moved to LA to conquer the dance scene...and she did just that! She started out working with Disney star Raven Simone, and worked at California Adventure in the Aladdin Show...but it was the exciting phone call to the studio that changed everything when she was selected to work with Britney Spears on her ''In the Zone'' promotional tour and ABC TV Special. After that, she went on to work with Mariah Carey, Paula Abdul, Toni Braxton, Paulina Rubio, Madonna, and most recently Miley Cyrus. Penni returns to the area often to visit family and friends and drops in to teach class. Penni has a special place in the heart of DCPAC and we are very very proud of all she has accomplished. Penni recently married Richard Vasquez ''Steelo'' of the Groovaloovs - currently featured on the World Dance Championships. |
