LA TONYA WATTS La Tonya Watts has performed in many theatrical and motion picture events including Nash Bridges, Made In America, Nine Months, Mrs. Doubtfire, and City of Angels. She has trained at the American Conservatory Theatre in S.F. as well as Julliard in N.Y. She has danced with some of the finest choregraphers including Lestor Wilson, Vincent Patterson, Jaimie King, Russell Clark, Tony Selznick and Stephen Semien. As a choreographer, her work includes Marin Shakespeare Company(Taming of the Shrew, Romeo & Juliet), Marin Theater Company(Pippin, The Wiz, Grease, Fiddler on the Roof), African American Shakespeare Company(Oedipus, Cinderella, Romeo&Juliet, MacBeth), Oakland Public Theatre, Willows Theater Group, Skyline High School of Performing Arts, and Alhambra High School. She has also been in many theatrical productions including Dream Girls, Once Upon an Island, The Wiz, Grease, and A Chorus Line. |
