KATHERINE ORLOFF Katherine began her formal dance training in ballet at a young age when she discovered her great love for dance. She continued to further her training at North Carolina School for the Arts, Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre and Alvin Ailey Dance Theatre. In 2002 she graduated from the University of California, Irvine where she was both an English and Dance Major. While at UCI she performed both classical and contemporary repertoire and was a member of Mr. Donald McKayle's Etude Ensemble. Upon graduating, she joined Company C Contemporary Ballet and also guested with various bay area schools and companies. Katherine most recently danced with the San Francisco Lyric Opera, and frequently performs with Amaranth Dance Company in Richmond, VA. She is currently a graduate student at Stanford University pursuing a Masters in Liberal Arts. |
