JONATHAN MERCER Jonathan Mercer came to DCPAC at the young age of 10yrs old and has left a mark here that will never be forgotten. He performed in every holiday show and filled the stage with his talent at all the competitions we attended, helping Paula Henson realize crazy ideas of dancers flying of wires, dropping down through domes, being suspended on 10foot high ''spider webs'' and spinning on bars for endings!!! You can see some of these crazy moments in our photo gallery and the guy in them is always Jonathan!!! After traveling to London and Tokyo to attend art school, he recently completed a year-long tour with the Broadway smash hit ''CATS'' in the role of Mr. Mistofelees. This professional dance job was the first audition Jonathan ever attended, and after his plane landed from NYC, his phone was ringing to offer him this prestigous role! |
